Her obsession for sweet food is especially shown when she goes insane after trying to go on a diet and quit eating sweets. Although, it seems that Stocking has calmed her urges, as she stated she was on a diet. Stocking hates spicy food just as much as Panty hates sweet food. Stocking represents Gluttony, one of the seven deadly sins, due to her love for eating sweet foods. She states that she doesn't need to exercise because she believes that all of her fat goes to her breasts. Stocking would much rather stay at home eating sweets, but unlike Panty and her sex obsession, Stocking doesn't let her love for sweets get in the way of her Ghost-hunting duties, which is why she is let back into Heaven. Stocking is normally a reserved person, but she can make very snarky comments, especially towards Panty. Stocking also possesses a cynical, cold and sardonic demeanor, and because of this, she isn't as popular as Panty, although many people (including women) find Stocking to be attractive. Backstory: Stocking and her twin sister, Panty, are angels who were kicked out of Heaven for their immoral behavior; for Stocking, it was likely due to her gluttonous behavior and somewhat cynical personality. They were both sent to live at a church with Garterbelt in Daten City, a city on Earth, in order to kill ghosts. Once they earned enough Heaven Coins from the ghosts they killed, they would be able to return to Heaven. Stocking battles ghosts by transforming her stockings into katanas, named Stripes I & II. Stocking is a popular celebrity on Earth; however, she is usually overshadowed by Panty in public because of her promiscuous personality. Despite this, Stocking has a large presence on the Internet, as she owns a blog and posts on social media websites such as YouTobe and Influenstagram. She is shown to have over 536,000 followers on Influenstagram.

Stocking has the ability to transform her stockings into a pair of katanas, which can be used to battle ghosts and any other spiritual being. Stripes I & II can be attached at the base of the hilt, to attack in a similar way to how a helicopter's rotors work. Her katanas are able to hurt any spiritual being, such as angels, demons and ghosts. Like any other sword, Stripes I & II must be sharpened, and if not properly cared for, can break, and possibly shatter.

- Honekoneko (ホネコネコ, lit. "Bone Kitten") is the sentient cat plushie Stocking is almost always seen carrying around. Honekoneko is a purple cat plushie with half of its face and body's skin missing, showing its bones. On its back, the upper right side and the lower left side has its skeleton showing, while the middle is held together with a bright green zipper. It sometimes shows its sharp teeth, with its expressions often matching that of Stocking's. Stocking also has the habit of dressing Honekoneko in outfits similar to hers, like where she dressed the plushie in a sailor-like outfit.
