Appearance: Rikka is a short young adult with extremely pale skin, bright pink eyes, and white, chin-length hair. She has two long sidebangs which reach her shoulders. In addition, Rikka wears a pair of square-rimmed black glasses.
Rikka wears a white button-up shirt underneath a V-Shaped black vest. Over both of these, she wears a long, flowing, white lab coat with two waist pockets. Rikka also wears black pants and black shoes. Her lab coat is oversized, with the sleeves often obscuring her hands.
Background: Rikka's life was unfortunately limited due to her albinism. Because the sun's UV rays are harmful to her skin, she can't go outside that much without either applying too much sunscreen or wearing extra layers of clothing. So, for most of her life, she stayed indoors in her room, but at least she had pets and her family to keep her company. In addition, she has to wear special glasses to see, as her eyesight didn't develop because of her albinism. Despite her disabilities and being bullied in her school for being different, she remained optimistic and curious about the world around her.
Her love of and bond with animals led Rikka to become a zoologist. Hope's Peak Academy even acknowledged Rikka's top-notch abilities and offered her a placement in their Ultimate Talent Program. Rikka was surprised and ecstatic to receive the invitation, accept it, and become the "Ultimate Zoologist," as she hated being in her lonely room most of the day.
Personality: Rikka is a kind-hearted and introverted woman who loves animals. She is a thoughtful and caring person, even if she doesn't have much experience with socializing due to her albinism. She wants to befriend many people beyond her bond with animals, mostly because she hates being alone all the time with her books and critters. Her dream is to make as many friends as possible and work together with all her classmates to build a hopeful future, as Hope's Peak Academy has intended.
Aside from Rikka's want for attention, she is a calm individual, but she can, at times, get emotional. She often expresses her emotions and blushes easily. She is also a patient person as a result of her training as a zoologist, and she doesn't like violence of any kind.

However, the animals inside her room - from parrots to even a monkey - began to chirp wildly and disturb the dormitory. Rikka's bright pink eyes widened before she quickly grabbed the bell and rang it once. As the sound reverberated throughout the room, the animals fell silent, a Pavlovian response.
