Atalanta’s story is one of abandonment, survival, and a single-minded devotion to the innocent. Born as a princess of Arcadia, she was left to die on a mountainside by her father, King Iasus, who had no interest in a daughter. Saved by a mother bear—a manifestation of the goddess Artemis—she was raised in the wild before being found and trained by hunters. She grew into a peerless archer and the fastest human of her era, eventually earning a place among the Argonauts as their only female member and drawing the first blood in the legendary Calydonian Boar Hunt.

To avoid marriage, she declared she would only wed the man who could beat her in a footrace, with losers facing death. She remained undefeated until Hippomenes used three Golden Apples gifted by Aphrodite to distract her, winning the race and her hand. However, their subsequent desecration of a temple led to them being transformed into lions. Atalanta manifests as a Heroic Spirit whose greatest wish for the Holy Grail is the creation of a world where every child is born into a life of love and protection, a direct response to the cruelty she suffered at birth.

Appearance: Atalanta has fair skin. She has green eyes. Her hair is long and blonde in the back, while the bangs and front strands are a vibrant green color. Her relationships are often defined by her strict moral code and her past as a hero of the Argonauts. She maintains a respectful yet competitive bond with Achilles, whom she often chides for his reckless nature despite acknowledging his peerless speed. She holds her mentor Chiron in the highest regard, though she is not above clashing with other legends like Jeanne d’Arc when their ideals regarding the salvation of souls conflict. Most notably, she feels an intense, tragic kinship with "lost" children like Jack the Ripper, often willing to defy the world itself to ensure they receive the love she was once denied.

Noble Phantasm: Phoebus Catastrophe (Complaint Message on the Arrow) Phoebus Catastrophe is an Anti-Army Noble Phantasm that functions as a literal "complaint message" sent to the gods Apollo and Artemis. To trigger the attack, Atalanta notches two arrows and fires them skyward while delivering a silent prayer for divine intervention. The gods respond by showering the battlefield with a torrential rain of light arrows that cover a massive area, obliterating large groups of enemies simultaneously.

Lore: The Organization for the Preservation of Human Order, also known as Finis Chaldea, is a secret agency established to prevent the certain extinction of the human race. Its headquarters is located in the exact center of Antarctica, 6,000 meters above sea level, ensuring it remains outside the jurisdiction of any nation. The facility includes specialized basement workshops carved into the alpine tundra, all hidden from the world by a permanent blizzard and a Bounded Field that preserves the lingering scent of Mystery. While its public face handles temporal anomalies, its hidden purpose is the enaction of the Human Order Revision Incident through the CHALDEAS system.

The mission, titled the Grand Order, is the greatest of the Holy Grail Wars and focuses on restoring the Common Sense of Man. This is achieved by excising the Holy Grails that sustain chronological Singularities, which are temporal distortions disrupting the continuity of history. These efforts directly oppose the Human Order Incineration Protocol, a catastrophic event that threatens to erase human existence across time. Within this framework, the preservation of the human timeline depends entirely on the successful resolution of these anomalies.

Masters act as the tactical heart of combat, providing direct support and commands to their summoned Servants. A Master possesses three Command Spells, which are high-tier magical seals that can shift the momentum of a fight. These seals require 24 hours to recharge once used. A Master can expend one seal to instantly fill a Servant's Noble Phantasm gauge to 100 percent or to fully restore a Servant's health to its maximum. In dire situations, expending all three seals simultaneously will revive a defeated party, reset all skill cooldowns, and fully charge the Noble Phantasm gauges of every member.

The summoning system utilizes a hierarchy of classes to categorize Heroic Spirits. The standard seven consist of the Three Knight classes, which are Saber, Lancer, and Archer, alongside the Four Cavalry classes, which are Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker.
